Ministry Update.
January 21, 2022
Thank you for your prayers and support of Shamgar Ministries. At the board meeting last Friday they reviewed feedback received after the November meeting and evaluated where the ministry is currently at (financially, legally, etc.). The consensus is that someone with a similar passion and calling would need to come forward in order for the work of Shamgar Ministries to continue. At this time no one has expressed interest and no one has been laid on our hearts to pursue. The unanimous decision was to meet again in mid-March. In the meantime, we will pray, restart the Monday email devotionals with a guest contributor, post weekly encouragement on social media, and also get legal advice regarding the proper closure of a non-profit. Thank you for your prayers.

“Thank you all for the outpouring of support and prayer following Pastor Paul’s passing in early October.
On Thursday, November 18th, 2021 the Shamgar Ministries board met to pray and talk about the future of Shamgar Ministries. The unanimous consensus was that it is far too early to make a decision and that more time for prayer is needed. It’s clear that Pastor Paul was the heartbeat of this ministry – we also acknowledge that Pastor Paul built a solid foundation for this ministry (legally, spiritually, etc.) and have seen lots of growth in just over a year. With this in mind, we want to wait on the Lord to see if He would raise up someone else to further this mission.
Would you join us in praying? Pray for wisdom and discernment for the Shamgar Ministries board. Pray that if God has someone else to continue this mission that He would speak to their heart about this calling. If you have questions or sense God’s leading in your life please reach us by email.
The Shamgar Ministries board plans to meet again in mid-January 2022. Thank you for your continued support and prayers.”
